Business Presentation Workshop
The ability to communicate is ranked the number one key to success by leaders in business, government and the professions. Content alone is not enough to hold the attention of the audience. How people perceive us affects how they listen to us. Each time we speak, we convey something about who we are and what we think. Our vocabulary, grammar, phrasing, tone, eye contact, body movement and gestures all combine to impress listeners. If this impression is negative, no matter how great the ideas are, our message will suffer.
Heather Stubbs of Skilltime and Cheryl Crumb of Cheryl Crumb and Associates are here to help. “On Stage!” is a highly successful Business Presentation Workshop, featuring the accomplished team of Heather Stubbs and Cheryl Crumb. This lively, engaging duo presents an interactive, two-day workshop tailored to presenting in any business context.
Cheryl’s corporate background fits expertly with Heather’s performing experience. Both women are skilled speakers and trainers and offer a dynamic, original and thorough approach to business presentations. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge and ability to their vibrant, interactive workshop. Customized to a company’s individual needs, On Stage! will elevate participants’ proficiency for sales, marketing, reporting, negotiating, and planning.
Consider this; as a businessperson, you have something in common with the big stars in every Broadway hit show. Each time you speak to someone in a business context, you are playing a role. You are On Stage!
The two-day “On Stage!” Business Presentation Workshop will train you to take an audience from anticipation through increasing interest to buy-in.
The interactive program includes
- Capturing the audience’s attention
- Bringing dry, technical material to life
- Preparing and practicing presentations
- Crafting a clear structure to speak extemporaneously
- Speaking without notes
- Maximizing words, voice and body language
- Involving the audience
- Turning stage fright into helpful butterflies
- Avoiding common pitfalls
- Using visual aids to help, not hinder
- Managing audience queries and slingshots
Presentation skill is only gained through practice and feedback. The class size for On Stage! will be kept small to allow for individualized attention. We’ll videotape presentations and analyze playback. Come to the session with a subject or topic and targeted audience in mind, and we’ll turn those thoughts into a dynamic, polished presentation. Each individual will have a number of opportunities to try various approaches and strategies.
